I'm looking to start an improvising instrumental band for jamming/recording and playing the occasional show. I'm very committed to creativity, but would prefer something with limited time commitments. I would be happy to jam a few times a year, but do also do some recording and play the occasional live show. I play electric rhythm guitar influenced by old-time banjo technique; playing with the thumb on the off-beats, and picking/strumming with the first finger, resulting in a fast, complex texture. I'd love to play with drums, and any melody-type instrument: fiddle, horns, guitar, etc.
