Female 30yrs Singer looking for likeminded band mates to have fun and be creative with.
I have attached a couple audio's so you can see if my voice fits your style (I can rock out and give much more power and bluesy tone to my voice but here it is constricted by my playing abilities)
I like most anything but mainly; blues, classic rock, classic country, and indie/folk. I play the guitar (probably classified as a beginner as I’m self-taught and can keep beat with shaker, washboard & jaw harp.
I sing, and have written a couple of songs. I love to sing but my guitar abilities limit the stuff I can do on my own. I need to work on my timing with others as I’m used to playing by myself or with highly skilled musicians who work around me lol (been awhile since I had a jam session with anyone).
Prefer casual jam nothing too serious, but if we get something good going open to gig’s.
I haven’t kept up with music over the last 2 years and want to get back into it. I would like to find a group (couple people) who pick a couple songs a week before meeting up, we each learn it and come together mix up our versions. Then just some good old jamming for fun.
I have written a couple songs obviously one better than the rest lol (1 country, 1 country/blues, 2 folk). I live in a small basement apartment, not very creation friendly, and wouldn’t mind working on new stuff too.
