ABOUT

I am a singer, songwriter, and keyboard/piano player and enjoy working on original songs. I am interested in playing modern rock mostly - heavy and not, but have played many different styles! I began playing over 30 years ago, have had some down time due to raising children, and am getting back into it again slowly. I can read sheet music, as well as play by ear, harmonize vocals, and chord. I have been in a heavy rock band in the past and am interested in finding other musicians approximately in my age range who are focused on the modern rock/alternative sound, making originals, and getting practiced up again. I am not a fan of most classic rock so if that’s your main thing, I won’t be into it… but if you share similar interests, I’d look forward to meeting you!

Influences

I listen to a wide range of music and have fit well into various musical settings. Over the years I have played and sang rock, some jazz, alternative, contemporary, some heavy rock, easy listening, cocktail music, pop, country... I even played an organ for a few years! My influences are numerous!
