BAND STARTED NEEDING LEAD GUITAR/BK VOX & SHARING GEN VOX
our ages 21-26, looking for around the same (me, female singer; bassist/vox, drums and r.guitar, all guys)
Covers really. current rock sounds only. Rock, alt rock, pop rock that direction. Sorry for lack of full sentences, just trying to make this short and sweet as we are really in need of someone with no attitude, for a short to possible long term band. (2 of the guys are based out of Toronto, might be moving back in the summer. myself and the the rhythm guitarist are station to Kingston so we would like to continue on with the project even if the drum and base can not).
I am the singer/keyboard player (can't say 'ist because I really do not have much formal training for piano). I also can play rhythm guitar if needed an extra kick in some tunes (acoustic or electric).
we currently practice 1 night a week, trying to aim for sunday aft or sunday night. also planning on starting to gig by end of March or sooner depending on how everything goes. The attitude in the practice room has been really positive, genuinely good hearted and no "heavy heads". Please don't apply if you think you're going to the star. This is a band of equality. including myself.
Only serious inquiries please. Would like to work with people around my age group if possible. Not really interested in the 60-70's sound. Willing to do covers, my originals, create originals together, anything!
