ABOUT
Hailing from Cambridge, Ontario, Seventy Eight, is a five piece band that consists of Paul Millard, Derek Higgins, Shane Boone, Kyle Millard and Mark O’Connor. Their unified vision of a live high energy rock band, is demonstrated in their sound and in their live shows. Equivalent to bands like; Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, AC/DC, and Billy Talent, Seventy Eight displays that exciting side to rock n ’roll.
Following previous individual projects, they have since come together to put their musical assets together. During the winter of 2014 the band collaborated and began recording their debut self-titled EP ‘Rebirth’ at Pawnshop Studios in Toronto, planning a release date in spring of 2015.
Their songs and stage presence, have earned them supporting slots for some of Canada’s top bands like: Danko Jones, Die Mannequin, The Glorious Sons, Hello Beautiful and Teenage Kicks. Seen performing in venues like; The Hard Rock Café, The Mod Club and The Revival are just a few that many have come to witness. Finally, what lies ahead is not yet certain for Seventy-Eight, but you can bet they will be ready for whatever they encounter
