ABOUT

40 year old guy, played guitar since I was 12.
Experience playing in various genres/settings (i.e. grunge/rock/alternative) in my youth and in later adolescence was part of various church music groups - my involvement in that scene and with religion in general is Long Over but... silver lining: I gained valuable experience playing in a band and was introduced to some other styles as well as got more proficient at rythym guitar.
I can also sing (lead and backup) and have a moderate level of experience with laid back, alternative, folk style vocals.
Im kind of a mixed bag and quite open minded - I love music in general and have a bit of experience in small studio setting.
I am looking to go beyond where I currently find myself (solo practice sessions, noodling and jamming for recreation) - I want to meet other musicians and ideally, make music with others, extant or new.
I am a shift worker so my schedule varies and I work 12hr shifts which afford me quite a few days off each month.
