SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Violin, Background Singer, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Dobro.ABOUT
Seeking acoustic musicians that would love to jam on Americana tunes at the end of a long work week. Although I tend to sing along with my own guitar playing, my ideal jam band consists of myself on rhythm guitar, a banjo player, maybe a lead guitar, and everyone capable of singing in harmony. Adding in a country-style fiddle player would be the cheery on top.
Having experienced playing with musicians and being "in the pocket", this is an itch I need to scratch. I have a day job, so this is purely recreational.
I'm not classically trained, but having started my music journey as a drummer in my youth, I can hold a solid rhythm and sing (backup) at the same time. Don't ask me to lead because as I've said: not classically trained. I no longer play drums but my acoustic rhythm guitar style is syncopated to compensate.
It's really all about that kitchen party or back yard BBQ with everyone playing an instrument.

Influences
Americana. Right now, I love listening to (and learning): Adam Carroll, Justin Townes Earle, and I can lay down the rhythm and sing to Nolichucky River from Milan Miller (what an awesome summer tune to jam to). These days I really love to play upbeat country tunes (e.g. Stay All Night by Willie Nelson).
