Bassist looking to join gigging band... ideally cover/tribute band focusing on rock/classic rock/pop/etc. Being active in music production I'm looking for musicians who will put in effort to mimic faithfully the tone of the original recordings. Wanting to make a crowd go "oh, they sound fantastic!" when listening to songs they could have otherwise listened to at home. I do backing vocals/harmonies as well as playing MIDI samples on a pedalboard, along with the aforementioned 4/5 string electric bass (as well as controlling light shows with another pedalboard). Open minded to many styles/decades but primarily looking to get crowds motivated and enjoying themselves.
Bassiste cherchant à me joindre à un groupe actif sur scène... idéalement un groupe de covers/hommages axé sur le rock/rock classique/pop/etc. Étant actif dans la production musicale, je recherche des musiciens qui s'efforceront d'imiter fidèlement le ton des enregistrements originaux. Le but de faire dire une foule "oh, ils sonnent fantastique !" lorsqu'ils écoutent des chansons qu'ils auraient autrement pu écouter à la maison. Je fais des backs vocales/ harmonies ainsi que des samples MIDI sur un pédalier, ainsi que la basse 4/5 cordes (ainsi que le contrôle de jeux de lumière avec un autre pédalier). Ouvert d'esprit à de nombreux styles/décennies, mais cherchant principalement à motiver la foule à s'amuser.

Influences
Everything from the 50s to the present, in the pop / rock / classic-rock / progressive rock / alternative / metal / etc. genre. AC/DC to ZZ-Top, Rush to Rod Stewart, Bee Gees to Marillion, Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters... if it sounds good and gets a crowd motivated, I'm all over it.

EQUIPMENT
Too much... Rickenbacker, Yamahas, Ibanez's, Peavey, Fender... tone shaping mostly from a Helix Rack-mount processor (useful for playing direct to FOH) but stage amplification ranges from smaller Traynor 2x10 to a big solid state Yamaha head and 2x15 cab, to a bunch of Ampeg 4x10s fed by a 1300 watt SVT-5. Roland sampler, KMI MIDI footpedals... ideal is playing into the FOH via the Helix and with a good stage monitor.
