I have been listening to music from a very young age. I can sing, I can write and I can compose. I may not know how to play an instrument but trust me I have a pretty good idea of music because I listen to everything that comes my way. Except for rap that goes on and on without a good beat. It’s not music even if you have the story of a terrorist growing up to become Prime Minister of a country. It’s a memoire.
Anyway, I grew up listening to alternative rock, which paved my path to hard rock, I even loved a few metal bands, and ended up being in a Classic Rock band for a short period before I changed my country of residence.
But couple of years before that, one day a friend came to me and said Hey! Listen to this song and then BOOM!
I fell in love with sounds of EDM music.
Now, I despise people who dislike others based on their taste of music. It’s pathetic really. There are million patterns to music and there is an infinite sea of sounds yet to be heard. Styles are ever-expanding very much like the universe. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a 1 yr old kid, a narcissistic teenager, or a dieing 90 year old man. We are all in this very moment, making tunes never heard before by anyone. Music genres are unbounded, and so is my love for it.
Doesn’t mean I like all kinds of crap, just ones that punch your soul and make you feel alive! To me that’s a hit, and you can create that kind of feeling with no vocals at all. Sadly I wont be involved.
So the kind of music I have created have been of alternative/punk/hard rock nature. These sounds come to me in waves, like when I am asleep at 3am, while taking a pleasurable dump, and most of the times when I am taking a shower.
These songs are thought provoking, funny, some dark, and some consciously awakened.
I am confident, quite confident, that if I end up releasing an album paying a producer to get some guys to jam with me, it will be a commercial fu*king hit.
But this is me trying to save money by finding someone who can play instruments in tune with my ideas, if it doesn’t work out, I will go back to plan C- Garage Band, and that’s just sad.
