I started composing music around 8-9.
Self-taught for most, I never stopped composing and used new music-related technologies. I also discovered I was a metalhead when I first listened to And Justice for All....
With my self-taught schoolmates, we formed an original band called A Riot In Heaven (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, and Soundcloud). Among the songs I composed: Breaking Day - Weekend on Poxima album.
We played together for more than 21 years and we performed our originals from Mauritius to Paris and London.
I met with Naïve Records FR and got us a record deal but 2 of us backed off for personal reasons unfortunately... we are all still brothers and with the singer/bass player, we kept on collaborating on both originals trying different styles and genres.
The Dot is my original and experimental music project name and I'm still having fun experimenting with electronic, rock, blues and metal music.
I kept playing drums in various bands for the love of meeting different musicians, music, and drums.
I moved to Edmonton, Alberta 10 years ago and met musicians through Bandmix allowing me to join "Identity Theft" cover band, "Stuck on Eleven", and became the drummer for Slant Six (iTunes, Spotify, Youtube). Among the songs I composed: Flashes of Life, Getting Out. I do graphic design for a living and designed the Slant Six and all related media and album artworks.
Metal being part of my everyday playlists, I started composing and drumming Metal originals and covers, like Redneck- Lamb of God, Oroborus - Gojira, and Black Sabbath among the too long to write rest.
