ABOUT

I've been playing guitar since 2007 and have played live for 7 years now. Over time I've also learned ukulele, banjo, mandolin, bass, and piano but I am certainly a guitar player beyond anything else. Of course I can play any of the other instruments if I have time to prepare for the set/recording! I'm a very easy going person and am interested in playing within any style or genre (except for metal) and whoever has a need for instrumentation for recording or live accompaniment should not be disappointed! I am looking for experience more than anything at the moment so if you're on a budget and need someone please feel free to reach out to me, we can always work something out!

Influences

my biggest influence would have to be Tommy Emmanuel, as my favorite style of playing is acoustic fingerstyle. I'm also a big fan of Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, and Joe Robinson. As for rock music, Guns 'n' Roses, The Clash, Extreme, Jimi Hedrix, Clapton, SRV, and The Strokes rank pretty high on my list. I'm also a big fan of Tower of Power and Steely Dan, as well as The Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Flaming Lips and Petunia and the Vipers. Needless to say I enjoy a wide range of music and I incorporate whatever I think is appropriate to the piece that I'm playing!
