I like the process of covers. Listen, learn, practice, and perform. I don't sing, so I'm generally at the mercy of whoever is singing, and have been told I'm "showing off" when I play some of the stuff I like (yeah... I need more positive people to play with).
I did play bass in a band for a few years, but recently left because while I enjoy bass, I love guitar. As long as I don't get "trapped", I will trade up.
I also have an 8 track recorder that I've thrown down some originals on, and would like to develop some of the ideas to play live, and play around with. I'm open to originals. Not talking about shopping for a contract, or touring the world... It's just that I find it fun to be creative.

Influences
The Stones, The Black Crowes, ZZ Top. I also like The Trews, Three Days Grace, Rival Sons, ect.. I'm pretty open. I just don't really want to play Van Morrison's "Brown eyed Girl", the Eagles "Take it easy", or the Band's "The weight"... Nothing against the songs themselves, but they have been a little "played out" in my circles.
