Hi there! I'm a very passionate and enthusiastic drummer and lyricist. I want to make the world a better place by incorporating music and art into my work.

I am based in Toronto, Canada! I've had an interest in drums and songwriting since I was 8 years old and professionally since I was 12. My dream is to be in a full-time band playing Progressive music with rock/metal as the main medium through which all is expressed.

I'm currently forming a new professional band (thus far unnamed) with my good friend and guitarist from the ashes of a previous collaboration with others. Although it's a new band, both the guitarist and I are proficient on our respective instruments.

Our style is neo-progressive rock/metal and are looking for:
-Bassist/keyboardist/vocalist
-frontperson vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist
-keyboardist/vocalist

Major influences include: Dream Theater, Symphony X, Saga, Rush, Yes, Genesis and Dead Can Dance

*I fully intend to expand the kit once acquired. It will be influenced by Portnoy's/Peart's kits with personal touches* Just do a quick Google search of their kits to see what my idea is! I should also mention that I am interested in combining Prog with 80s New Wave for enhanced sounds and a broader musical palate (including electronic toms, pads, etc.). A great example is Bill Bruford's 1980's King Crimson kit. Check it out on Google for the idea.

Again, everything will have personal touches. I do not intend to replicate their kits exactly because I already have my own feel and sound basically worked out and I am continuing to learn!
