Hello! I'm a vocalist/songwriter who writes very unique and artistic indie rock - pretty but dark, uplifting but anguished, atmospheric but driven. Elements of my music include haunting piano riffs, unconventional song structures, and poetic lyrics. I am also influenced by the punk/emo scene, but I wouldn't classify my music as such. See my influences for a better idea of what I'm talking about.
I'm looking for band members around my age range (18-26) to help me realize my musical vision - bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, female backup vocalist (I can also play keyboard or rhythm guitar). I'll admit I have little performance experience, but I have been playing music for almost all my life and I have 5 songs written, more to come. Ideally, we would get together and start working on originals and maybe a couple of covers, then record an EP and start local performances. I'm currently in school but practice would be my first priority, and I'm ready to leave it all behind for a career in music.
