I'm looking to join or form a band in the Vancouver area. I'm 18 years old, and I just recently moved to Vancouver from Edmonton, as my first step to joining/forming a band. I'm extremely committed and dedicated, and music is my life. I've had vocal training, and practice daily. I don't have any sound clips, but Dir en grey is my biggest influence (along with The Beatles and Sex Pistols), and the lead vocalist's voice is similar to my style (no worries I sing in English), as well as his stage presence. My voice is soft, but I like to experiment and sing pretty damn hard sometimes, and I also write my own lyrics. I'm not looking for any specific genre, and I want to be part of a project that is open for variability, that being anything from hard rock to softer sounds with melodies. I'm willing to make any sacrifices for the band, whether that means moving to a more successful place, or anything else. The band takes top priority and I'm only looking for people who feel the same and are willing to work really hard to go someplace with this. I have my own gear and can start immediately.
