Bass Guitar.ABOUT
Hey, a little about me, I've been playing drums for a little over 20 years now. I wouldn't consider myself a Pro, but I'm definitely better than the average drummer. What I tend to concentrate on when practicing is NOT chops, but more groove. The most important thing for is for the band to feel and really get in the groove. I have some little chops up my sleeve that I keep for all the good occasions.
My goals are to basically get into a band that I can really connect with and have some fun. Also, playing with a band not only increases your skill but really teaches you to play as one and not by yourself.

Influences
I'm a very versatile drummer. Again, I'm no pro, but I listen and can play alot of styles of music from Blues, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Latin and more. I generally play more Funk, Jazz, Disco music generally because the bass is so strong and I can really get a good groove.
Some artist influences would be:
Funk: Jamiroquai, Dave Weckl Band, Mariah Carey (earlier stuff), James Brown, Sade, Brian Bromberg and more
Jazz: Miles Davis, Chris Botti, Diana Krall, Anthony Wilson
I honestly listen to too much stuff. My favorite drummers are:
Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Jeff Hamilton, John Blackwell, Tony Royster Jr., Virgil Donati, Omar Hakim and some...
