"Wanna be Part of Something Great?"
Seeking "strong" rhythm / lead guitarist who can switch off with other guitarist and be able to share lead vocals.
Building a solid classic rock, funk, energy-driven group. In essence, this group of professionals can play "anything".
Note * The is not a jam band
Have been in touch with a drummer, bassist and lead guitarist
Myself: (As a pro keys player / lead singer), I have over 40+ years stage experience. I need to get together with players who have played many of the artists (as per my influences) listed below and who bring extensive performance experience to the mix. Players with great improv and quick-learning skills are ideal.
* Will consider those band members who are playing in "no more than" 1 other band (who can still make the commitment to this band with no scheduling overlaps).
The Process: Everyone is given a list of 10 songs (initially 2 weeks before the audition) and then every 2 weeks following.
Rehearsal space: (on our property, SE of Summerside). So, having access to a vehicle and having cell (with texting, etc) is a good idea.
Ideally, everyone has the same goals of:
- coming prepared to rehearsals (twice a month)
- eventual gigging
* Excellent communication is essential.
