Zëffer is a weird band. We're making an EP currently (a legit one), but have only played a couple of gigs together, though we've practiced a ton. The guitarist and drummer are brothers.
Joz and Erik (guitar, bass) played in a band throughout 2008, and when that ended started jamming with Joz's brother informally. We've started and stalled with the whole band thing, but basically we have the means to record, gig, etc. etc. etc...the whole package. But without a solidified lead singer, we put it on the backburner. If we had one, we'd have some fun for sure.
We all write. We all know our instruments. We all study music. We're as laid back or as into it as we feel like.
Not of the dope-smokin', beer-chuggin' variety of typical non-pop highschool bands, but we're still interesting :P Very. Interesting.
The Zëffer EP is currently in production, with all the instruments done, but we're trying to figure out who can come in and sing on the 4 songs. Hence looking for a legit singer! :)

Influences
Oh Lord. So many. Classic rock, blues, jazz, punk, funk, metal, hard rock, alt. rock, etc. etc. etc.
Alex digs U2, Led Zeppelin, and a thousand others.
Joz digs everything from Dream Theater to Randy Bachman.
Erik digs Velvet Revolver, Rush, etc. but also laid back stuff like Steely Dan and the Eagles.
Seriously. There are SO many influences, that if you have any of the similar genre favs as us, there will be a lot of matches. I just can't list 10,000 artists here.

EQUIPMENT
Can't remember exact stuff...
Joz has an epic purple PRS, a black Gibson Les Paul, a white Fender Stratocaster, and one or two others.
Erik has a sunburst Fender Jazz Bass, a sunburst Fender Telecaster, and a black super shallow body Ovation Acoustic-Electric.
Alex has a white...Pearl kit, I believe. It's legit, whatever it is.
