Toronto-based original funky psychedelic rock band is looking for someone to replace our lead guitar player/founding member who has moved out west to be closer to family. We have two full length albums, have toured (Europe, Canada, USA) and pack Toronto rooms. We're a fun, lively bunch and looking for an experienced guitarist who can lead us through our catalogue and some fresh jams!
Approx Time Commitment: we usually play 1 or 2 weekends out of every month, mostly around Southern Ontario, but sometimes travelling further. We've been starting to tour in the USA and in Europe and are currently applying for festivals which will lead to more touring.
All gigs are paid, we can negotiate amount.
Ideal candidate:
- some experience with jazz
- experience with rock n roll
- ability to improvise
- ability to play solid rhythm guitar
- ability to play extended solos with a focus on the guitar but interaction with the band as well
- good attitude
- enjoys being on the road
- willingness to grow with a band
- car is an asset
- jam space is an asset
