Influences
Always influenced by solid hard blues and rock & roll - with strong GTR riffs & commanding vocals. Definitely a major recurring theme.
Influenced by so many great riff-writers of the 70s & 80s...Sabbath, Purple, Priest, Zep, Floyd, Tull, ZZ Top, BTO, April Wine, Steppenwolf, Doobies, Eagles, Journey, Skynyrd...just can't narrow it down without leaving hundreds of them out. But you get the drift.
Remaining motivated by newer CDN acts like The Sheepdogs & Monster Truck and others south of the border like Greta Van Fleet for reflecting strong influences from the 70s.

GTR (50+ years old; young at heart) - - creative songwriter with a deep collection of original riffs. My dear bass player (a lifelong brother, long-time bandmate) passed away in late 2020 before we could find the right singer for our material, and that's left a huge void in my life. I'm motivated to get this project rekindled and underway with an LP worth of songs completed / recorded at a comfortable pace. Ready to write a great album with the right partners !

Seeking intelligent, inspired collaborators to jam and create with - - perhaps we can get a band together that is equally motivated by the mantra "Don't want to go to my grave with my original music still in me." Looking to build a band that will complete a quality studio recording of 9-10 songs with plans for more to follow.

PRS; rack mount TC Electronics & Digitech FX gear; Ready to unbox a Scarlett 18i20 rack mount audio interface for great multi-track 24-bit recording. Also, have close proximity to private pro recording & production gear with the engineering know-how that comes with it.
